He was predeceased by: his parents, Doyle Foxx and Sadie Lowman Foxx; his son Larry "Skip" Foxx Jr.; and his sister Carolyn Foxx Story. He is survived by: his wife Karen Lane Foxx; his son W. Dale Helton of Hickory; his granddaughter Makayla; his nephew Rob Paterno; his nieces, Wendy Martin, Stacie Story and April Williams; and his pets, Sophie and Meghan.
