He is survived by: his children, Jerry Dean Stephens (Lisa) of Hickory, Ann Cole of Lenoir, Maria Turnmire of Morganton and Larry Scott Stephens of Morganton; his grandchildren, Talisha, Aaron, Hayley, Rachel, Jennifer, Melissa, Kara, Kimberly, Hunter and Caelob; and his great grandchildren, Ava, Jack, Kylin, Haven, Katie and Laydon.
