It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Julia Duckworth Brinkley (Valdese, North Carolina), who passed away on July 15, 2018, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Howard Brinkley; and her son Bruce Howard Brinkley. She is survived by: her children, Linda B. Deal (Ralph Michael Deal), Mary Jane Jones (Gilbert), Buck and Robert W. Brinkley; her grandchildren, Carol Annette Deal, Amie Deal Mull, Suzanne B. Spearman, Jessica Jane Jones, James Edward "Jeb" Brinkley and Julia Christine Jones; her great grandchildren, Kendal Mull, Rebekah Brinkley, Katie Mull, Logan Spearman and Copeland Spearman; and her great great grandchild Lola Kerley.
