He was predeceased by: his father John William Hopper, Sr.; and his sister Terri Hopper. He is survived by: his mother Edna Lloyd Hopper; his children, Crystal Hopper Halsey (Jordan), Stephen Hopper and Dawson Hopper; his grandsons, Ezra Halsey and Phinn Watkins; and his sister Lavonda Watts.
