It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Ray Wilkinson of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on December 29, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Wilkinson and Amie Brittain Wilkinson; his wife Eleanor "Tensie" Wilson Wilkinson; and his stepgrandson Stephen Childers. He is survived by: his children, Edward "Eddie" Wilkinson of Rutherford College, Marty Wilkinson (Brenda) of Connelly Springs, Elaine W. Bradshaw (Terry) of Connelly Springs and Karen W. Bryant (Jesse) of Valdese; and his brothers, Jack Street (Dorothy) of Canton, Dr. Robert Street (Patsy) of Greensboro and John Wilkinson of Kingston, TN.. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great-grandson.
