She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Jackie and Christine Simmons Watson Jackie; her husband Elbert Tipton; her grandson Andrew Millwood; and her brother Ronnie.
She is survived by: her children, Kim Summerow (Donnie) of Valdese and James Tipton of Connelly Springs; her grandchildren, Emilee, Mylee Summerow and Jerica Tipton; and her great grandchild Kayta Millwood.
