He is survived by: his wife Rachel Ingle Simmons; his children, Jack H. Simmons Jr. (Anglea Willis) of Longview, Alex Simmons (Shannon Johnson) of Bethlehem and Nancy Martin of Connelly Springs; and his brothers, Arrie Simmons of Bridgeport, John Simmons of Icard and James Simmons of Drexel. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
