He was predeceased by: his parents, Billie Jones and Tomiko Kinoshita Jones. He is survived by: his wife Jennifer Benfield Jones; his children, Chris Jones of Connelly Springs and Lauren Jones (Daniel Trivette) of Hickory; his siblings, Jeff Jones of Morganton, Janice Fox (Tim) of Raleigh and Brandy Sigmon (Eric) of Valdese; and his grandchildren, Lydia Jones, Elijah Trivette and Carly Trivette. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
