She was predeceased by: her father Oscar Jay Reid; her husband Johnny Edward Wilson; and her siblings, Winfred "Russ" Reid, William Hascal Reid, Jerry Lee Reid and Louise Reid Holland.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Lee Wilson of Valdese; her siblings, Ernest L. Reid of Lenoir, Larry Dean Reid (Pat) of Cajah's Mountain, Ronald Jay Reid (Tammy) of Morganton and Rita Reid Robinson (Talmadge) of Michigan; her grandson Nicholas Cole Wilson (Lauren Wilson); her great grandchildren, Hadley Caroline and Reese Catherine; and her sister-in-law Janet Reid.
