He is survived by: his spouse Sandra Abernathy Heavner; his daughters, Regina King (Shannon) of Hildebran and Allie Meaders (Joseph) of Anderson, SC.; his siblings, Homer Heavner (Pat) of Valdese and Janette Lowman (Joe) of Valdese; his sister-in-law Sally Heavner of Valdese; and his grandchildren, Garrison Cook, Dalton King and Keegan Meaders.
