Freda Lee Kirby Marley Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 16, 2022, at the age of 90, Freda Lee Kirby Marley of Valdese, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jasper Allen Kirby and Rose Price Kirby; her husband Charles Marley; the father of her children Wayne Teague; her siblings, Faye Bradshaw, Bingham Kirby, Perry Kirby, Roy Kirby and Fred Kirby; and her granddaughter Jennifer.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicky Sherrill (Lynn) of Granite Falls and Barbara Johnson (Sandy) of Hickory; her grandchildren, Jason Sherrill (Beth) of Gastonia, Amanda Benfield (Bryan) of Granite Falls, Justin Johnson of Charlotte, Jerod Johnson (Daniela) of Holly Springs and Jenna Johnson Avila (Drake) of Poway, CA; her great grandchildren, Allison, Jack and Apple Sherrill; and her grandchildren, Kyle, Autumn and Maggie Johnson.
Freda was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church in Lenoir where she faithfully attended until the Coronavirus Pandemic in 2020.
