Florence Costner Buchanan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Florence Costner Buchanan (Valdese, North Carolina), who passed away on June 8, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Costner and Bertha Craig Costner; her husband Henry Buchanan; and her siblings, Paul Costner, Howard Costner, David Costner, Elsie Underwood and Betty Franklin.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Buchanan (Pam) of Connelly Springs and Diann Buchanan of Connelly Springs; her grandchildren, Jason Buchanan of Hickory, Heather Ward (Daryl) of Marion, Andrea Buchanan of Connelly Springs and Krysten Buchanan of Connelly Springs; her great grandchildren, Nikalus Ward and Shea Ward of Marion; and her sister Francis Costner of Hickory.
Interment will follow in the Abee's Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Burke Hospice and Palliative Care at 1721 Enon Rd. Valdese, NC 28690.
