He is survived by: his son Mark Micol (Lisa) of Bullock, NC; his stepdaughter Pamela Parsons (David) of Lenoir, NC; his grandsons, Cole Edward Micol of Bullock, NC, Tyler Parsons of Lenoir, NC and Aaron Parsons of Lenoir, NC; his sister Emily Hargrove of Chapel Hill, NC.; his nieces, Raye Lynn Longhini, Ruthie Gage, Linda Womble and Laura Freeman; and his nephew Randy Fletcher. He is also survived by other loving cousins, great, and great-great nieces and nephews.
