She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Alvin Brandon; and her siblings, Bonnie Ramsey and Ronald Lunsford. She is survived by: her children, Benny Brandon (Alvin) and Jane Jackson of Morganton; and her grandchildren, Cindy Boger (Dale) of Hickory, Jeffrey Brandon (Denise) of Boone, Annette Abernathy (Jamie) of Hickory, Susan McClellan of Charlotte, Joseph Farris (Carolyn) of Asheville and Nikki Lackey (Jered) of Maiden. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
