He is survived by: his wife Blenda Richards Ward; his son Wesley Ward (Crystal) of Valdese; his grandson Matthew Ward; his siblings, Larry Ward of Newton and Barbara Huffman (Dennis) of Morganton; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Ward of Connelly Springs and James Richards.
