She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cube Kincaid and Essie Kincaid Forney; her stepfather Samuel Forney; her sons, Carl C. Hawkins, Alphonzo Hawkins, Marshall Hawkins and Bradley Hawkins; her grandchildren, Edward Hawkins, Michael Hawkins and Tina Nicole Hawkins; and her siblings, James (JV), William Kincaid, Charlie Forney, Betty, Essie Raye, Viola, Wilma Kincaid, Nona Witherspoon, Helen Craft, Ruby Ervin, Nettie Forney, Alice Forney and Bert Taylor.
She is survived by: her sons, Roy Leonard Hawkins (Ann) of Valdese, Bruce Hawkins, Sr. (Judith) of Valdese and Fred Hawkins (Ricky) of Lenoir; her sister Anne Forney Ramseur of Valdese; her sister-in-law Helen Walker of Washington, DC; and her daughter-in-law Mildred Hawkins of Valdese. She is also survived by other grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
