He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Waldrop and Edith B. Waldrop. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his children, Scott D. Waldrop of Asheville and Tracy Correll (James L. "Buzzy); his grandchildren, Carson James and Audrey Adiar Correll of New Hill, NC; his siblings, Barry D. Waldrop (Lynn) of Charlotte and Cathy Blevins (Dale); and his nephew Corey Blevins of Valdese. He is also survived by his children attended NC State, and his brother and son in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be sent to the Children's Playground Fund c/o the Waldensian Presbyterian Church, 109 Main St. E., Valdese, NC 28690.
