He was predeceased by: his parents, Juanita Ledford and Ralph Ledford; his stepfather Joe Ledford; and his brother Gary Ledford. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Ledford; his son Coty Ledford (Whitney); his stepson Christopher McKinney; his siblings, Diane Bowman (Quinton), Debbie Weaver (Barry), Lisa Suttles (Jeff), Ronnie Ledford (Janet), Allen Ledford (Kathy) and Joey Ledford (Sheila); and his granddaughters, Harper and Magnolia Ledford. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
