She is survived by: her son Joseph Webb Farrar II; her wife Tammy Farrar of Sterling, VA; her grandsons, Reed Jeffrey Farrar and John Edwin Farrar; her siblings, Joanna Powell Heavner of Marietta, GA and Dean Powell of Hickory; and also Joseph Jeffrey Farrar (Ingrid) of Valdese. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
