He is survived by: his wife Ruth Smith McKinney; his daughters, Angelica Uecker (Jeremy) of New Ulm, MN, Ashlee Sherrill (Eric) of Hickory and Jennifer McKinney of Lincolnton; his siblings, Rosa Crawford, Julia Wright, Buddy McKinney, Wayne McKinney, Niki Rector and Anthony McKinney; and his grandchildren, Addison, Chloe, Miles and Wyatt. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
