She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrtle Sherrill West and Charley Glen West; her brothers, Jack (Thelma), Teddy and Tinker West; her brother-in-law Tom Carswell; and her sisters, Marie Buff (J. B.) and Delores Rector (Cecil).
She is survived by: her husband Lewis Palmer Franklin; her children, Jeffrey Lynn Franklin and Jill Franklin Fletcher (David Fletcher) of Valdese; her grandchildren, Katherine Fletcher, Rachel Franklin and Isaac Franklin; her great grandchildren, James Fletcher and Luke Franklin; her siblings, Reba Howell (Dave) of Valdese, Joan Carswell of Valdese, Johnny West (Barbara) of Valdese and Jerry West (Geri) of Connelly Springs; her sisters-in-law, Brenda West of Valdese and Toni Reece of Valdese; and also Cindy Smith Franklin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
