It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carla Diane McGee Leonhardt of Valdese, North Carolina, who passed away on May 17, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Russell McGee; and her husband Stanley Leonhardt, Sr.. She is survived by: her mother Betty Smith McGee; her sons, Stanley Leonhardt (Renee) of Morganton, Steve Leonhardt (Cheryl) of Morganton and Gary Leonhardt (Erika) of Lenoir; her siblings, Sue Croom (Willie), Russell McGee (Sharon), Dean McGee (Robin), Jeff McGee (Gail), Terry McGee and Rob McGee (Susan); her grandchildren, Stevie Leonhardt, Spencer Leonhardt, Garrison Leonhardt, Abigail Rhodes, Charley Rhodes and Hannah Evans (Dean); her great grandchildren, Lillie Evans and Piper Evans; and her close friends, Melinda, Kojack Mayfield and Carla McGee Leonhardt.
