He is survived by: his wife Mary Lail Rhoney; his sons, Tim Rhoney of Morganton, Terry Winifred Rhoney (Gina) of Maiden and Gregory Scott Rhoney (Debbie) of Apollo Beach; his grandchildren, Meghan Rhoney, Corey Rhoney (Lynli, Jordan Roth), Brendan Rhoney and Shea Rhoney; and his great grandchild Ellis Rhoney.
