He was predeceased by: his sister Dianne Franklin; and also Dolly Lambert. He is survived by: his children, Billy Franklin, Connelly Springs, Pam Nichols (Jamie) of Hickory and Ricky Franklin of Valdese; his grandchildren, Nicholas Nichols, Zachary Franklin, Kaitlyn Franklin, Nathan Nichols and Calvin Nichols; and his siblings, Leroy Franklin (Linda) of Valdese, Delene Franklin (Dale) of Drexel, Judy Lail (Gary) of Connelly Springs and Sherry Greene (Clenard) of Valdese.
