She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Beulah and Dora Brown Lee Beulah; her husband Ernest M. Stephens; her daughter Rita Stephens Stoner; and her sisters, Mable Early, Jetta Craycraft and Tillie Loveland.
She is survived by: her children, James E. Stephens of Hickory and Sharon S. Loftin of Connelly Springs, NC.; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Gobble, Melissa Riordan, Elizabeth Cauvel, William Stephens, Seth Stephens and Stephen Powell. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
