It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Hancock Sr. (Union Mills, North Carolina), who passed away on December 31, 2019, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Stewart Hancock and Marie White; his wife Nancy Conner Hancock; his son Avery S. Hancock; and his stepfather Roy White.

He is survived by: his daughter Catina Melton (Mitch).
