He is survived by: his wife Evangeline Abel; his sons, Regan Abel and Benjamin Abel; his grandchildren, Nikolai Abel, Kyndal Sheree Abel and Kacyn Gunner Abel; and his sisters, Celia Abel, Barbara Abel Ritter and Marjorie Abel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
