It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruby Duncan of Union Mills, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Wilson and Berdie Hill of Forest City; her son Alton Keith Duncan of Union Mills; her grandson Marcus Leon Bridges of Union Mills; and her siblings, Rev. Lloyd Hill of Caroleen and Leona Smith of Forest City.

She is survived by: her husband Ray Dean Duncan of Union Mills; her children, Ruby Faye Bridges (Pete) of Forest City, Sandra Arrowood (Dennis) of Rutherfordton, Martha Duncan Searcy of Union Mills and Alan Barry Duncan (Barbara) of Rutherfordton; her daughter-in-law Jennie Cox; and her sisters, Sybil Stott and Lois Hill. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
