He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Scruggs and Edna Scruggs; his grandchildren, Alyssa Stephens (Dusty), Larry, Charles "Chucky" Porter and Emma Nicole Porter; and his great grandchildren, Dawn, CJ, Tavion, Emory Rayne and Emerson Joe.
