She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Ree and Anne Clements Whisnant; her husband Preston Guffey; and her brother Charles Whisnant. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Scruggs (Audrey), Joan Watson (Malcolm) and Lynn Osteen (Terry); and her grandchildren, Chad Scruggs, Beth Smith (Steven), Jake Watson (Amie), Josh Scruggs (Josie), Tommy Watson (Julie), Timmy Osteen (Jessica) and Emily Mullins (Chris). She is also survived by sixteen greatgrandchildren.
