She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Fincannon and Rosa Lee Fincannon; and her sister Sylvia Johnson. She is survived by: her husband Randy Cope; her children, Cynthia Cope (Rodrigo Chavez) of Rutherfordton, Steve Cope (Kelly) of Iowa, Carl Cope (Wendy) of Rutherfordton, Julie Greene (Alan) of Rutherfordton and Carolyn Carpenter of Forest City; and her siblings, Linda Thomas of Rutherfordton, Ralph Fincannon of Spindale and Louanne McDaniel of Rutherfordton. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
