With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hugh Nanney (Union Mills, North Carolina), who passed away on August 24, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Louise Crowe, Alvin Nanney and Jack Nanney. He is survived by: his daughters, Lynette Melton (Kim), Donna Ferguson (Joey), Laura Manis (Andy) and Pam Childers; his sisters, Nadine Rippy and Annette Shehan; his grandchildren, Matt Ford (Angie), Crissy Coffey (Leonard), Dillon Watson and Shadrick Watson; his great grandchildren, Malakai Ford, Paisley Coffey, Jaylee Reynolds, Hunter Sherman and Cheyenne Sherman; and his wife Colene.
Mask and social distancing are required for those in attendance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
