Gene Roper Sr. Obituary

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Howard Roper and Janie Barrett Roper; and his brother Melvin Roper. He is survived by: his children, Crystal Roper Burgess (Brian) of Forest City and Robert Gene Roper, Jr. (Melissa) of Bostic; his siblings, Charles Roper (Carol) of Rutherfordton, Mike Johnson (Christy) of Forest City and Carol Jones of Forest City; and his grandchildren, Brandon Hawkins, Morgan Henson (Adam), Magan Roper, Shawn Roper, Ryan Roper and Ritchie Burgess. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are requested to the First Wesleyan Church, 700 S. Church Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
