She was predeceased by: her parent Allen Andrew Wood; and her husband Paul Parks. She is survived by: her parent Bessie L. Hughes Wood; her son Ricky Apple (Angelia); her stepchild Paul Parks, Jr.; her wife Nancy V.; her siblings, Hilda Castleberry of Concord, Joyce Bailey of Winston Salem and Ralph Woods of Boone; and also, Constance Lipsey, Jessica Parks and Robin Perkins. She is also survived by four brothers; and one sister.
