She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Sims and Edna Pack Sims; her sister Carolyn Sims Russell; and her nephew Johnny Alan Warren. She is survived by: her husband Johnny C. Warren; her children, James Alvin Warren, Inez Wilson (Bruce) of Hickory, Sylvia June Warren of Rutherfordton, Lora Lyda of Bat Cave and Jessica Wills (Jamie) of Lake Lure; and her sister Doris Sims Hodge of Spindale.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills or Bat Cave Baptist Church.
