He is survived by: his sisters, Betty Lane of Union Mills, Jerolene Lane of Union Mills and Gladys Campbell (Jerry) of Rutherfordton; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Greene of Union Mills.

The family request donations in memory of Charles to be made to Cane Creek Baptist Church or Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.
