He was predeceased by: his parents, Lhorne Paul Elms and Virginia Ledbetter Elms. He is survived by: his children, Brian Elms of Trinity, AL and Jenny Stracener; and his brothers, Robie Elms (Theresa) of Kemah, TX and Tony Elms (Andrea) of Decatur, AL. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
