He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Arrowood and Vearl Parton Arrowood; and his siblings, Joyce Mull, Lula Freeman and Floyd Arrowood.

He is survived by: his wife Joanne Arrowood; his children, Roxanne Barnhill of Belmont, NC, Kim Thomas (Dave) of Harrisonburg, Virginia, John Stevens of Union Mills and Kevin Tuttle (Kathy) of Forest City; his siblings, Kermit Arrowood of Union Mills and Lois Jones (Raymond) of Shingle Hollow; his siblings-in-law, Don Freeman of Union Mills and Kathleen Arrowood of Forest City; his grandchildren, Brett Grindstaff, Nathan Stevens, Skyler Bradley (Angela) and Sarah Sanchez (Joe); and his great grandchildren, Lexi Grindstaff and Gage Bradley.

Memorial donations are requested to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043 or to the Little White Country Church, 198 Satellite Drive, Union Mills, 28167.
