The memory of Vica Mae Poteat Jordan of Union Grove, North Carolina, who passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Poteat and Luvella Poteat; her husband Joseph "Joe" Jordan; and her brother Hugh Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Layne (Teresa), Dale (Whitney) and Carol Mahaffey (Darrell); and her sisters, Agnes Poole, Kathleen Huffman, Charlotte Whitaker and Pat Welborn. She is also survived by six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sweet Home Baptist Church (7173 Somers Rd, Union Grove, NC 28689). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
