Sherman Cass Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sherman Cass (Union Grove, North Carolina), who passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Marvey and Lessie Gregory Cass; his wife Connie Wooten Cass; his great grandchild Zachary Clodfelter; and his brothers, J. M. and Buford Cass.

He is survived by: his sons, Duane Cass (Jackie) and Brian Cass (Crystal); his grandchildren, Alan "Trey" Millen (Jordan), Meredith Ausley (Drew), Shannon Bowman (Will), Morgan Clodfelter (Dustin), Caroline Cass and Lydia Pope (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Banks Millen, Holland Bowman, Lacey Clodfelter, Carly Clodfelter, Sadie Pope, Gaston Bowman and Zenora Clark; and his sister Wilma Teague. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
