She was predeceased by: her parent Walden Moore; her siblings, Bertha Upright, Johnnie Moore and Roy Moore; and her niece Gail Keller.
She is survived by: her parent Dessie Souther Moore; her spouse Joe A. Compton; her children, Mark Compton (Tonya) of Statesville and Angela C. Lewis (Travis) of Union Grove; her grandchildren, Haley Compton, Zachary Compton and Tressa Lewis; and her sisters, Lydia Roten (Joe), Rachel Barnette (Tommy) and Mary Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
