He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Gaston White and Phebe Blankenship White; his grandson Travis Mahler; and his siblings, Carmie, Tom, Ray White and Pauline White.
He is survived by: his wife Ann Williams White; his daughters, Jami W. Mahler (Donnie) of Union Grove and Jill W. Sturtevant (Eric) of Union Grove; his grandchildren, Trey of Union Grove, Trevor Mahler of Union Grove, Morgan of Union Grove and Breanna Sturtevant of Union Grove; and his sister Lillian White Redmond.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Sweet Home Baptist Church, New Prospect Cemetery Fund or Hospice of Iredell County.
