He is survived by: his wife Lena Ladd; his children, Lena Diane Vestal (Tim), Rebecca Gaye Ladd and James Junior Ladd; and his grandchildren, Melissa Hall Childress, Desiree Starr Flowers, Tabitha Sue James, Timothy Ray Thompson and Anthony Brent Thompson. He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
