He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. L. T. Younger and Era Redmond Younger; his wife Hilda Williams Younger; and his siblings, Alta Lou Younger, Betty Privette (James), Redmond Younger, John C. Younger (Carolyn) and Coolidge Younger (Mary Lou).
He is survived by: his children, Ann Williams (Dennis) of Statesville, Cole Younger (Zee) of North Wilkesboro and Todd Younger (Diane) of Union Grove; his grandchildren, Travis Younger (Christie), Morgan Y. Houck (Ryan), Evan Younger (Rhiannon Salem), Nathan Williams (Ivy) and Hannah W. Sparks (Justin); and his great grandchildren, Colin Younger, Camille Younger, Reese Younger, Ryleigh Houck and Georgia Ann Williams.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, March 3rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A funeral service was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Taylor Spring's Baptist Church (443 Linneys Mill Rd, Union Grove, NC 28689). A burial was held on Monday, March 3rd 2025 at the Taylor Springs Baptist Ch Cemetery (443 Linneys Mill Rd, Union Grove, NC 28689).
