It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Frank Jackson of Union Grove, North Carolina, born in Livonia, Michigan, who passed away on October 31, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joyce Caperton Jackson of Boone and Jessie Franklin Jackson; his wife Julie Nagle; his children, Heather, Cody (Paige) of Taylorsville and Dusty (Mary) of Troutman; his grandchildren, Abby of Taylorsville and Colt of Taylorsville; his siblings, Wanda Smith of Boone and David (Merlie); his in-laws, Gary and Carolyn Nagle of Oroville; and his brother-in-law Gary (Melania) of Martinez, California.. He was also cherished by 2 nieces and 4 nephews, and 2 great nieces &; 3 great nephews, several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Austin & Barnes Funeral Home Chapel (194 Queen St, Boone, NC 28607).
