He was predeceased by: his parent Ethel Wood (Borst); and his daughter Barbara Cornwall. He is survived by: his parent Robert N. Wood, Sr.; and his sons, Robert Nelson Wood, III of Union Grove, NC, William Jay Wood of Montgomery, AL and James David Wood of Inman, SC. He is also survived by 6 grandsons and 14 great grandchildren.
