It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anita Hawthorne Baldwin (Union Grove, North Carolina), born in McCook, Nebraska, who passed away on March 28, 2020, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Glenn Hawthorne and Ruth Turner Hawthorne; her husband Steven J. Baldwin; her son Ethan Noel O'Neal; and her brother Richard Hawthorne.
She is survived by: her son Seth O'Neal (Mikala) of Concord; her grandchildren, Garrett Cole Thomas and Sophia Ann Wellons; her stepson Michael Baldwin (Denise) of North Wilkesboro; her stepgrandchildren, Wesley Baldwin, Chelsey Baldwin, Lindsey Baldwin and Kylie Baldwin; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Rylan Shumate, Avaline Auger and Julian Auger; her siblings, David Hawthorne (Melanie), Joy Kirk (Keith), Mary Foster (Larry) and Becky King (Lamoine); and also Amanda Wyatt. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
