She was predeceased by: her parents, L. C. Henderson and Josephine Mitchell Henderson; her husband Rayford Gray Combs; her siblings, Myra H. Osborne and William Henderson; and her former husband Benjamin Franklin Laughlin.
She is survived by: her sons, Steven Henderson Laughlin of Monroe, GA and Daniel C. Laughlin (Kristina) of Madison, GA; her grandchildren, Joshua, Tucker, Denver and Savannah Laughlin; her sister Evelyn Henderson Connor of Union Grove; her nephew Jerry Osborne (Paulette); and her niece Linda Dowell (Tommy).
