She was predeceased by: her parents, William Oscar and Anna Mae Lane Boyce; and her sister Miriam Boyce of Missouri. She is survived by: her husband C. T. Mansfield of Tyner; her sons, Bill Mansfield (Pat) of Hertford and Martin Mansfield (Debra) of Tyner; her grandchildren, Betsy Chappell (Chad) of Tyner, William Mansfield (Bridget) of Camden, John Mansfield (Samantha) of Mebane and Lisa Beacham of New Bern; and her great grandchildren, Rebecca, Abbie Chappell, Benjamin, Lovie Jayne and Maverick Mansfield.
