He was predeceased by: his father Arch Robert; and his wife Margaret Gibb Mair McEwen. He is survived by: his children, Stuart P. McEwen (Janice) of Virginia Beach, John McEwen of Fond, Mark McEwen of Byron, GA and Christine Ward of Tyner; and his sisters, Mary Ellen Henry of California and Esther Mae Hecker of Florida. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
